The 3-ear replacement handle for Espresso machine is made of high quality stainless steel.The handle has 2 versions that are ABS plastic and rosewood. Both materials provide a solid grip and high durability. The inner diameter of filter basket is 51mm, only compatible with the model: Delonghi EC680 / EC685/EC820 and models using the 51mm 3-ear handle. The filter basket has a capacity of 18g coffee along with 2 pouring spouts at the bottom help you to make 2 cups of standard Espresso Single Shot.

The filter basket comes with the handle is a single-layer filter basket, different from the 2-layer filter basket of the original handle that comes with the machine. The advantage of this type of filter basket is to help you make better, bolder coffee with a more standard crema because the pressure is created by the coffee ground itself instead of being pressurized by the secondary filter basket. This means you also would need to have an espresso grinder which is good enough to grind the espresso standard. Unlike the bottomless handle, the coffee from this handle will be collected at the bottom and evenly divided by 2 pouring spouts. This faucet design will help the coffee to flow directly into the Espresso cup, avoiding splashes if the brewing skills are not good (such as uneven compression, channeling, …) or the grind size is not standard.
